This poster I made was accepted into The Richmond Illustrators club. I am stoked; of over 400 entries, only 45 were accepted, 10 total entries from my studio mates were acepted. Proud of them. Thank you judges.

Prep sketch before starting the final piece I posted yesterday. I usually try and leave some room for some magic while working on the actual piece, instead of figuring out every detail of a piece before hand.

The Denim Hunter: Mike Harris

Inspired by an article in Inventory.

Mike Harris is a denim hunter and historian. He hunts for old denim in the run down mines of the west. He is the author of Jeans of the Old West and a mad man/ genius when it comes to the denim history. He has carved his own weird little niche for himself in the world and I found it extremely fascinating.
